Drake might be wildly popular with some - with the net worth to prove it - but that doesn't quiet the haters. The rapper was recently booed off stage at a major music festival and now he's responded on social media.

While performing at rapper Tyler, the Creator's music festival Camp Flog Gnaw, the 'In My Feelings' rapper was booed offstage by the crowd. Concert-goers were told there would be a special guest and they expected Tyler the Creator's good friend and frequent collaborator Frank Ocean.

When the youthful crowd was met with Drake as the surprise performer, they were wildly unimpressed and loudly made their opinions known.

"I'm a tell you like I said I'm here for you tonight...If you want to keep going, I'll keep going tonight," he said to boos before ending his set early.

Now, he's responded on his own Instagram account, joking that he's signed a residency at the festival.

He shared a short series of pictures from the fest with the caption, "Plot twist...just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30," implying that the majority of festival-goers who weren't into him were around 20 - guess they didn't grow up watching Degrassi.

His celebrity friends issued their support on Instagram. Popstar Halsey wrote, "Season ticket holder," and Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kendall Jenner responded with a simple "haha" (her younger sister Kylie Jenner was recently rumored to be spending time with Drake).

Thankfully, it doesn't seem like Drake is too in his feelings about the crowd's reaction.
