This is the dramatic moment a trawler sank just minutes after starting to take on water.
The crew of the Ocean Way had to be rescued after the fishing boat ran into trouble off the coast of Shetland.
Lifeboats rushed to the scene after the crew alerted coastguards when the boat started taking on water.
But despite trying to use pumps to keep the boat afloat, the five fishermen reportedly had to abandon ship and jump into the water as it was sinking so quickly.
They were rescued by crews from RNLI lifeboats and taken back to shore at Lerwick.
Dramatic footage released by the RNLI shows the men having to jump clear from the trawler as it sinks below the surface of the water.
They are then pulled to safety by lifeboat crews.
Lifeboat coxswain Alan Tarby described the dramatic events on Friday, saying: “It all happened very quickly. The time between the crew jumping off the boat and the boat sinking was about two minutes.”
Mr Tarby said the rescue was made easier by the fact the crew were all wearing the right equipment and had undergone safety training.
