Drew Barrymore breaks down in tears re-watching The Wedding Singer
Drew Barrymore has shared a video in which she breaks down in tears watching her iconic romantic comedy, The Wedding Singer.
The original Charlie's Angels star, who now hosts The Drew Barrymore Show, appeared in the 1998 flick as waitress Julia, the love interest of Adam Sandler's titular crooner, Robbie.
Taking to Instagram, Barrymore shared a clip with her 17.3 million followers, writing, "I love you so much [Adam Sandler]. The Wedding Singer came on my TV as I was getting ready to leave the house and I had to take in this moment and watch it."

In the clip, Barrymore addresses Sandler through tears and says, "We made such a good movie, I love you so much, Happy New Year!"
"What year was it that we met in the newsroom?" she asked, before joking, "1922?" and laughing.
In between sentences, Barrymore flicks her camera back and forth to show snippets of the film on her television. She then goes on to reveal that the film came on TV as she was on her way to a yoga class, and she subsequently booked the next class so as to be able to watch the flick.
Sandler himself has reacted to the video, writing, "Love u always Drew. Happy New Year," in the comments of the clip.

Barrymore and Sandler have also co-starred in 50 First Dates and Blended, with The Wedding Singer marking their first collaboration.
The talk-show host has stepped away from acting in recent years, but previously hinted that the prospect of making another film with Sandler could coax her back on set.
"As soon as you talk about Adam Sandler, I'm like, 'Oh, well maybe. Sure'," she said.
The Drew Barrymore Show airs Mondays through Fridays in the US. It is currently airing its fourth season.
