Drinkers can enjoy a free pint at five North Staffordshire pubs this weekend. Hospitality giant Greene King has launched the promotion to mark 25 years of the Six Nations which resumes tonight.

Customers can claim their free pint of Greene King beer on Friday, January 31 or Saturday, February 1 by saying the codeword ‘Space for a Pint?’ at the bar. The offer includes Greene King IPA, Level Head, Flint Eye and Old Speckled Hen, as well as cans and bottles and non/low alcohol and soft drink alternatives.

The participating North Staffordshire pubs are:

  • Sneyd Arms, Hanley Road, Sneyd Green;

  • Gatehouse, Clayton Road, Clayton;

  • New Florence, Sussex Place, Lightwood Road, Longton;

  • Windmill, Ash Bank Road, Werrington;

  • Master Potter, Tean Road, Cheadle.

The same deal is also on offer at the Plough Inn, on Crewe Road, Alsager, and at Heath Farm, on Padgbury Lane, in Congleton.
