Driver escapes after car flips onto its roof on Bedworth country lane

A driver managed to escape after their car flipped onto its roof on country lane in Bedworth. It happened on Astley Lane last night (October 1).

Shocked passers-by saw the car on its side and raised the alarm with the emergency services. Fortunately, West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) told CoventryLive it was not called into action.

Warwickshire Police confirmed that it received a 999 call to report the car on its side. A spokesperson said that the driver was uninjured.

The spokesperson added that the driver did not need any emergency services help to get out of the vehicle. The incident happened as heavy rain lashed our area last night.
