Police troll driver caught with huge plank of wood balanced through the window and boot of his car
Police were left stunned after they spotted a “plank” of a motorist balancing a huge piece of timber through his car.
The unidentified driver was pulled over by traffic officers in Kettering, Northamptonshire, last Friday after they spotted the 30-foot long piece of wood hanging out of a silver Suzuki.
Somehow, he managed to precariously placed the wood so that it was sticking out through the passenger window and protruding out the back of the vehicle.
Tweeting a picture of the car, Kettering Police Team mocked the motorist, writing: “Can you spot why this car was pulled over in Kettering? What a plank!”

People responding to the post also expressed their disbelief at the mystery driver.
Facebook user Cris Rocholl said: “Wooden have a clue he joust looks like he could be part of a splinter group.”
Meanwhile Pete Taz Morgan wrote: “Sir Lance-a-lot! Perfect modification for cyclists!”
Michael Holmes added: “If it fits it ships!”
However, one Twitter user leapt to the defence of the driver, writing: “How else is one supposed to transport an awkwardly long fence panel in a vehicle without some transport hire company charging over the odds?”
