Driver 'who tried to dodge police' can expect a court letter through the door
A driver can expect a court letter in the coming days after allegedly trying to avoid the police on the Padiham bypass.
Pendle's neighbourhood policing team has ramped up its attention on the bypass after concerns were raised about the manner and standard of driving in the evenings.
As a result of this, the team has and will be paying particular attention to the area over the coming days and weeks in an effort to reduce the impact this has on those living nearby and other road users.

A spokesperson said: "Last night officers were in the area in the evening. Tickets were issued in relation to anti-social driving and excessively loud exhausts and one boy-racer decided he didn’t want to stop before abandoning his vehicle, which was then seized; he can be expecting a court hearing in the near future.
"Our activity will continue and we’ll let you know of anything of interest in the next few days and weeks."
