Driver 'who tried to evade cops found to be drunk'
A DRIVER who "tried to evade cops" was allegedly found to be drunk.
Officers in Dumbarton tried to stop a motorist during a speed check on the A82 on Sunday morning.
However, he reportedly failed to do so.
When cops eventually caught up with him, he was allegedly found to be under the influence.
He was charged with drunk driving, dangerous driving and failing to stop.
West Dunbartonshire Police wrote: "A driver didn't want to stop and talk to #DumbartonRP yesterday morning at their speed check on the #A82 Dumbarton.
"We caught up with him anyway and found him to be drunk.
