Driver Waits for Elephant Herd to Calmly Cross Road in Southern Zambia

A visitor on the way to Victoria Falls, Zambia, had a close encounter with a herd of elephants crossing a road.

Jiaheng Zhang told Storyful he was travelling from Livingstone to Victoria Falls when he filmed video showing the elephants walking calmly in front of his car, while vehicles stop to wait for them to cross.

“There were a dozen of these giant creatures, some grown-ups, some cubs, some were eating with their long agile noses, some were just standing,” Zhang told Storyful.
