Amey is set to begin resurfacing a stretch of the A75 between Minigaff and Newton Stewart.
A convoy system will be in place between 7pm and 6am each night from Tuesday, December 3 to Friday, December 6 and again from Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 13.

When the work is taking place across the Euroroute's junction with the A712, drivers should use the A714 Wigtown road.
An Amey spokeswoman said: "This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future."
