Drivers who haven't cleaned their car since start of November risk £1,000 fine
Drivers have been urged to clean their car after the clocks changed a fortnight ago. Focus Medical Eye Centre warned the autumn is months is one of most important times of the year for road users to clean their car and ensure they have a good view of the road.
They advised: "Dirt, smudges, and condensation can exacerbate visibility issues at night. Regularly clean your windscreen inside and out to ensure maximum clarity. If your vehicle has fogging issues, consider using anti-fog products or ensuring proper ventilation to keep your view unobstructed."
Cleaning motors will ensure road users, motorists and drivers can reduce blind spots from. They continued: "With less visibility, it’s important to reduce your speed. Driving at a slower pace allows for better reaction times to unexpected obstacles, such as pedestrians or animals crossing the road.

"With wildlife activity being common in our Sussex areas nearby, be especially cautious as animals are often more active during twilight hours." Brausen Auto has also issued its expertise and guidance as we head towards Christmas, amid £1,000 fines for poor visibility.

It added: "Properly adjusted mirrors are essential for minimizing blind spots and maximizing your field of view.
"Set your rear-view mirror to frame the entire back window, providing an unobstructed view of the road behind you. Adjust your side mirrors to cover areas not visible in the rearview mirror, ensuring there are no blind spots next to your vehicle. Remember to perform shoulder checks before changing lanes to account for any potential blind spots that mirrors might miss"
