Drivers Navigate Flooded Roads in Downtown Birmingham, Alabama

Strong storms passing through Alabama on Saturday, July 9, causing flash floods in downtown Birmingham and prompting warnings from the National Weather Service (NWS).

This footage, posted to Twitter by Josh Smith, shows cars trying to navigate the flooded roads while it continues to rain. According to Smith, the flash flood “went down in a few minutes after passing.”
