Drivers Navigate Flooded Streets in Lafayette as State of Emergency Declared

Cars navigated flooded streets in Lafayette as severe weather prompted Louisiana’s governor to declare a state of emergency on May 17.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for the city, estimating it could see up to six inches of rain overnight into May 18.
