Drivers narrowly avoided “potentially killing” kids doing a “terrifying” TikTok trend in the middle of a road.

A motorist in Garston reported seeing a group of teens doing push-ups in the middle of the A405, near McDonald's in Garston, at around 5.30pm yesterday (November 28).

Another witness said had the cars not slowed down and hit the horn the boys could have died and the drivers “would have been traumatised and their lives would have been ruined because of some stupid internet trend".

He added: “One of them did it three times and another one did it once.

“The first time wasn’t that close, maybe ten metres, then the second time was about five to seven metres away, and the third time someone had to slam brakes coming out of McDonald's exit.

“The cars were all doing 40 miles per hour or more apart from the one from the McDonald's which was still doing around 20.”

Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed the boys were reported to them.
