Drivers Wait in Long Lines as LA County Reports More Than 9,000 New Coronavirus Cases

Drivers in Los Angeles waited in long lines for coronavirus testing on Monday, January 4, as the hard-hit county reported more than 9,100 new cases and 77 deaths tied to the virus in one day.

Los Angeles health officials report that one in five residents in the county seeking testing are receiving positive results. Statewide, California reported more than 31,000 new cases on Tuesday.
