The Conservatives will be hopeful of some relief from pressure in the new constituency of Droitwich and Evesham. The constituency has been formed by a boundary change in Worcestershire - particularly Mid-Worcestershire.

The current MP is Tory Nigel Huddleston - and indeed the seat has only ever been a Conservative constuency. There is, however, a slightly different geography in the 2024 General Election.

The constituency takes in wards of Badsey, Bengeworth, Bowbrook, Bretforton and Offenham, Broadway and Wickhamford, Dodderhill, Drakes Broughton, Droitwich Central, Droitwich East, Droitwich South East, Droitwich South West, Droitwich West, Evesham North, Evesham South, Fladbury, Great Hampton, Hartlebury, Harvington and Norton, Honeybourne and Pebworth, Little Hampton, Lovett and North Claines, Norton and Whittington, Ombersley, Pinvin, The Littletons, and Upton Snodsbury.

While Labour is targeting Tory seats across the country, this one will be a significant challenge. Electoral Calculus preducts the Tories will hang on to it.
