Drone Captures Aftermath of Deadly Home Explosion in Maryland

A house explosion in Bel Air, Maryland, killed two people and displaced a dozen families in the morning hours of Sunday, August 11, Maryland officials reported.

On Monday, the Maryland State Fire Marshal identified the victims as 73-year-old Ray Corkran Jr, the homeowner, and 35-year-old Jose Rodriguez-Alvarado, a contracted Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) employee.

“Crews have already begun cleaning up the copious debris strewn throughout the neighborhood, and restoration companies are beginning to make repairs to nearby homes,” the fire marshal said.
