Drone footage of Bewl Reservoir in East Sussex showing the effect of the heatwave on water levels in the area

I shot this at Bewl Reservoir in East Sussex on 12 August 2022 and it clearly shows how low the water levels in the reservoir are getting, as we head into a time of hosepipe bans and rainless skies. Bewl reservoir supplies water to over 2.5 million households across the south and southeast UK. The water levels have looked quite low for a few years but the levels are now dropping even more as the current heatwave continues.
