Cheshire Police said in a statement: "The driver of the car, a 38-year-old man from Manchester, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs, two counts of possession of a knife and conspiracy to convey class A and B items into a prison. The man remains in custody at this time where he is assisting officers with their enquiries."
