Drone Surveys 'Catastrophic' Flooding in Haleiwa, Hawaii

Evacuation orders remained in place until late on March 9 amid what authorities were calling “catastrophic” flooding in Haleiwa, Hawaii. This drone video shows inundated roads and houses.

Honolulu county officials lifted the evacuation order before midnight, but said road closures remained in place.

Hawaii Gov David Ige declared a state of emergency due to the flooding.
