Drone Surveys Tornado Aftermath in Oklahoma
Homeowners in Norman were picking up the debris and surveying damage on February 27, after a powerful tornado tore through their neighborhood on a night when several were reported in Oklahoma and Kansas.
The Norman Police Department reported there were 12 injuries related to the weather event, and that multiple roads were closed
The National Weather Service (NWS) said it would work with local emergency managers to survey the tornado tracks across central Oklahoma on February 27. The agency received several tornado reports throughout the course of the storm, according to Oklahoma Mesonet.
