Drone Video Reveals Rarely-Seen Bowhead Whales in the Arctic

Rare video of of one of Canada’s largest marine mammals, the bowhead whale, will help both researchers and the public get a closer look at this magnificent Arctic species. Through the use of VDOS Global drones, the research team was able to capture rare high-quality images and videos of a small subset of the Eastern Canada-West Greenland population of bowhead whales in the Cumberland Sound.
