Drug dealer travelled from Manchester to sell drugs on Blackpool's streets
A drug dealer who sold heroin and crack on the streets of Blackpool has been jailed for two years.
Michael Mulligan, 24, was seen in a car on November 9, 2022. Officers carried out a check on the vehicle and found intelligence linking it to drug dealing.
They followed the car along the Promenade and stopped it at the Grand Hotel. Mulligan had a black shoulder bag containing a mobile phone and £591 cash. Another mobile phone was found between his legs in the car, Preston Crown Court heard.

Officers searched two hotel rooms which had been booked at the Grand. In Mulligan's room they found a bag of lighters, mobile phones, a SIM card and £3,000 cash. The phones were examined and contained drug dealing texts spanning two or three days.
Mulligan admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack and possession of criminal property. He said the money seized was the proceeds of drug dealing in Blackpool. Since his arrest, Mulligan has been convicted and jailed for an offence of GBH and appeared in court on video link from prison.
Judge Richard Gioserano, sentencing, said: "I have to factor in a two year delay and that is a matter of mitigation because you are a year into your sentence for section 18 without knowing your release date. You have no previous convictions for drug trafficking offences and you are still relatively young."
The judge said the amount of cash found on Mulligan indicated the scale of the operation which spanned just a couple of days. "It was obviously very busy," he said. Judge Gioserano sentenced Mulligan to two years to run consecutively to the sentence he is already serving.
