Drug driver arrested after multi-vehicle crash in Stroud

An alleged drug driver has been arrested at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in Stroud today (Saturday, July 6). A man in his 20s tested positive for cocaine after taking a roadside test following the crash.

Police were called to the scene of a crash involving at least two vehicles near to the Bear Inn, Rodborough. One of the vehicles was forced off the road and ended up facing the opposite direction on the road.

It is not believed that anyone suffered any serious injuries as a result of the crash. A 26-year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody, police said on X.
