Drugs found following police pursuit on M62 in East Yorkshire

Cannabis worth around £5,000 along with Class A drugs were found in a vehicle after a police pursuit on the M62 in East Yorkshire.

Humberside Police say officers from the Kinetic Roads Crime Team spotted a vehicle "believed to be connected to criminality" on the motorway near Goole on Thursday (January 30).

Following a "short pursuit", a 41-year-old man, a 30-year-old man, and an 18-year-old man were searched and arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. A search of the vehicle found "cannabis worth an estimated £5,000" along with £500 cash and £50 worth of class A drugs.

A Humberside Police spokesperson added: "All three men remain in police custody assisting with our enquiries.
