Oasis have confirmed a 14-date reunion tour in the UK and Ireland. Tour dates have been announced for July 2025 in Manchester's Heaton Park and additional shows in London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium, Cardiff's Principality Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park, with tickets available to purchase via Ticketmaster on Saturday, August 31, from 9am.

While Liam and Noel will be back together, it's not yet known which other band members will be joining them on stage. Oasis' original line-up, formed in Manchester back in 1991, was brothers Liam and Noel, guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, bassist Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan and drummer Tony McCarroll, reports Manchester Evening News.

However, over the years the line-up has changed. The last time Liam and Noel performed together back in August 2009 at V Festival, they were the only "original" bandmates.

Liam and Bonehead have remained good friends following his departure from the band in 1999. The guitarist returned to share a stage with Liam for the Definitely Maybe tour earlier this year. Fans are hopeful that Bonehead will be joining Oasis on stage for their reunion tour. Until then, here's a list of Oasis' founding members, and where they are now.

Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs

Bonehead was one of Oasis's three founding members alongside Guigsy and original drummer Tony McCarroll. They first started their band in Manchester in 1991 officially starting life as The Rain. They were said to have been unimpressed with original singer Chris Hutton, and so Bonehead suggested auditioning his pal Liam Gallagher from Burnage as the replacement.

And the rest is history. Liam would in turn suggest the name change to Oasis - with his brother Noel later recruited to the ranks on the proviso he would become the songwriter and leader.

Bonehead announced his shock departure from the band in 1999, stating at the time he wanted to spend more time with his young children. He was replaced by Gem Archer, who stayed with the band right through to 2009 until the departure of Noel.

After leaving the band, Bonehead returned to home turf in Manchester, where he now has his own recording studio. He has remained a popular figure on the music scene and been involved in a number of band projects.

He was diagnosed with tonsil cancer in April 2022, but after a successful course of treatment was declared cancer-free in September 2022. He has remained close friends with Liam, and played on previous tours alongside him including most recently on the triumphant Definitely Maybe tour.

Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan

He was one of Oasis' founding members. But bassist Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan has rarely been seen in public since he quit the iconic Manchester band at the height of their fame back in 1999. Guigsy, 52, now lives in North London.

The bass player left the band in 1999, two weeks after fellow founding member Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs had also quit in the midst of recording Standing on the Shoulders of Giants. According to Noel Gallagher, Guigsy announced his departure by sending the band a fax message.

Since leaving the band, lifelong Manchester City fan McGuigan has kept a low profile away from the showbiz scene.

He declined to take part in the Oasis Supersonic film in 2016. And when Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher was asked about Guigsy in 2019 he said: "Not seen him since he left the band (1999) and he only lives up the road."

Tony McCarroll

Drummer Tony, from Levenshulme, became the first of the original founder members to leave the band - departing in April 1995 and replaced by Alan White until 2004.

Noel Gallagher had been a vocal critic of Tony's drumming style, and after he left the band Noel was quoted as saying: "I like Tony as a geezer, but he wouldn't have been able to drum the new songs."

In 1999, he started legal proceedings against the band in an £18million bid for his part of the band's five-album deal with Creation. He would go on to agree an out-of-court settlement in March 1999.

He has gone on to write an autobiography about his time in the band titled Oasis: The Truth, and agreed to take part in the Supersonic documentary in 2016. While Tony was known for his crop of dark curls while in the band, he now has a shaven head.
