Dua Lipa's fall hair transformation has made its in-person debut.
The singer stepped out for a rare public appearance at the AFI Film Festival yesterday, where she attended a cocktail reception celebrating Barbie director Greta Gerwig, who's serving as the fest's guest artistic director. For the star-studded event at Harriet's Rooftop in West Hollywood—which was also attended by Billie Eilish and Mark Ronson—the "Dance the Night Away" singer chose a black leather shirt dress, which featured a structured collar, long sleeves, and matching black buttons down the length of the column maxi-length skirt.
She wore the top button of the dress to evoke a plunging neckline, and added eye-catching accessories, including blood-red pointed-toe heels, a chunky silver chain bracelet, and assorted rings. She wore her fiery red hair lightly curled with a side part, and completed her natural makeup look with a dark nude lip.
Lipa first revealed her colorful new hair two weeks ago, sharing a since-deleted Instagram post captioned "Miss me?" that may have also served as a teaser for her highly-anticipated upcoming album. In the pic, the star lounged on a bed wearing a red, white, and blue striped sleeveless tank top, her colorful hair flowing around her.
While the singer's Instagram is still empty following her recent hiatus, which saw her erase all of the prior posts from her feed, she did share a new update on X/Twitter yesterday morning. The new image—a close-up of Lipa's mouth as she holds a small golden key between her teeth—is paired with the cryptic caption, "catch me or I go..."
