Dua Lipa is apparently again being sued for allegedly posting paparazzi photos of herself on Instagram.

The 'New Rules' singer, 26, is accused of sharing snaps of herself in a black jumper emblazoned with the word 'Heroes'.

According to Billboard, US-based photographer Robert Barbera said he took the pictures in 2018 and is accusing the star of copyright infringement, suggesting that as she promotes herself on the platform she benefitted from his photos.

Barbera – who is seeking damages - has claimed he tried to resolve the issue outside of court but that communication “slowed and eventually stopped”.

It is not the first time that Dua Lipa has been accused of sharing a pap shot of herself on her social media.

Last year, a photo agency called Integral Images took action over a photo of the singer queuing at an airport.

The shot was taken in 2019 and the firm claimed that Dua posted it on Instagram "without permission or authorisation".

The company said that as the star used the platform as a marketing tool, she profited from the image.

According to reports, that lawsuit was ultimately dismissed with prejudice.
