Dublin Airport statement on 'likely delays' after power outage
Passengers flying to and from Dublin Airport on Sunday have been warned of potential delays after a power outage.
Posting on X on Sunday morning, Dublin Airport warned that the power outage in North County Dublin is impacting on operations on Terminal 2.
Daa (Dublin Airport Authority) said passengers should continue to travel to the airport as normal but said that "some delays are likely" and urged passengers to contact airlines directly for information on specific flights.

The news follows delays at the airport on Saturday caused by the presence of a dog on the runway. Airport Police and Airport Fire and Rescue teams sprang into action just after 2.30pm after the dog was spotted on the airfield at the busy airport. Departures were delayed for approximately 20 minutes and the dog was taken, unharmed, to the Airport Police K9 facility ahead of being transferred to the Dog's Aid dog sanctuary.
In a statement to the Irish Mirror, Graeme McQueen, Media Relations Manager at daa, said: "Departures off the North Runway at Dublin Airport were suspended for around 20 minutes on Saturday afternoon after a dog was spotted on the airfield."
"Our Airport Police and Airport Fire and Rescue teams worked together to return the dog to safety. The dog was unharmed and is being cared for at our Airport Police K9 facility and will be transferred to the Dogs Aid dog sanctuary later today."
