Dublin Leaf Blower Blows On Despite of Ex-Hurricane Ophelia Winds

A man using a leaf blower appeared to ignore the high winds brought to Ireland by ex-Hurricane Ophelia on October 16, continuing to try to tidy fallen leaves in the Raheny area of Dublin.

Three people were reported to have been killed in Ireland by the late afternoon.

Met Éireann, the Irish weather service, warned that Ophelia was likely to be the most severe weather event to hit the country in over 50 years.

RTE News reported that more than 100,000 homes were without electricity, while transport services across the country were stopped. Dublin Airport had to cancel 135 flights. Credit: Twitter/suzshelly via Storyful
