Monday marked the Queen and Prince Philip’s 70th wedding anniversary and naturally, the entire royal family joined in the evening celebrations at Windsor Castle.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry, and Charles and Camilla were all spotted making their way into the royal residence to commemorate the platinum anniversary.

Princes William and Harry donned smart black tuxedos for the occasion, while a pregnant Kate appeared to be wearing a lace black dress.

Although the royal’s outfit couldn’t be seen in all its glory from the few photos that were taken, it’s believed the Duchess was wearing a frock by Diane Von Furstenberg. You can snap up a shorter version of the gown for just £150 if you’re quick.

The £785 floor-length style was worn by Kate earlier this month at The Anna Freud Gala Dinner. The 35-year-old royal also wore the dress for the 2014 Royal Variety Performance.

It’s the Duchess’ jewels that have hit headlines. Kate, who is due to give birth to her third child in April, borrowed one of the Queen’s most striking necklaces: the Four Row Japanese Pearl Choker.

The piece is thought to have been made in the 1970s by royal jewellers Garrard from pearls given to the Queen by the Japanese government. It was first seen on the monarch in 1982 and features four rows of pearls with a central diamond clasp.

It’s the first time Kate has worn the pearl piece. Princess Diana was also a fan of the choker, having been spotted wearing it to a banquet at Hampton Court Palace in 1982.

The Queen isn’t the only royal Kate has borrowed jewellery from. Click below to see her collection that once belonged to Princess Diana:

Wrapped up in a black wool coat with her hair styled in its perfect curls, Kate was the epitome of elegance.

It’s set to be a busy couple of weeks for the pregnant royal as she’s scheduled to attend the Royal Variety Performance on Friday along with a number of other work engagements.
