With royal in-person engagements pretty much on hold at the moment due to the pandemic, Kate and William are doing their utmost to highlight as many causes as they can when they do step out.

Yesterday, the pair embarked on their first joint engagement this month – visiting several different locations in London while Prince George and Princess Charlotte were at school on the other side of the city.

The Cambridges helped make bagels at the much-loved East London Jewish bakery Beigel Bake before heading to London Muslim Centre in Whitechapel and, finally, meeting staff and job-seekers at London Bridge Job Centre.

Both Kate and William wore masks to adhere to social distancing guidelines while baking and meeting people. Catherine's looks to be the same £15 Liberty-print face mask by Amaia London she wore recently while volunteering at a baby bank.

But, unsurprisingly, royal watchers were obsessed with her dress. The red and white floral print dress is by one of Kate's favourite labels, Beulah London – and the perfect style for September thanks to the long sleeves, autumnal print and flattering length.

Beulah London's Calla Rose dress is currently reduced in the Matches Fashion sale, but still pricey at £330.

She teamed the dress with tan-coloured Ralph Lauren heels and a more affordable accessory: Missoma's gold hoop earrings.

While this is the first time the Duchess has worn the dress out and about, we have seen the Beulah design before on a video call for Heads Together in May during lockdown.
