The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Bradford today on their first joint royal engagement of the year.
They are in town to visit young people, employers and families at a series of projects that promote cohesion within Bradford, one of Britain’s most diverse cities.
Kate chose to wear a beautiful long line forest green coat by Alexander McQueen, the designer responsible for her wedding dress.
She accessorised the look with a pair of ceramic drop earrings from Pakistani brand Zeen that she has worn on several occasions before. The earrings cost just over £6 and are still available to buy online here.
The duchess finished the look with a small, structured black leather bag from Aspinal of London. We’ve seen Kate out and about with the Midi Mayfair bag on several occasions. She owns the top-handle bag in both lilac and black croc and, thanks to the Kate effect, it has sold out several times. It costs £495 and is available to purchase online here.
Kate upped the glam of her otherwise understated look with smoky eye and bouncing blow dry.
While in Bradford William and Kate will join in with workshops, including one session helping grandparents with child-caring responsibilities and another aimed at bringing people together in religiously and ethnically diverse communities.
They will begin the day at City Hall in Centenary Square, where they will hear about life in Bradford from a group of young people and meet representatives from local businesses who are helping young people into employment.
They will then go on to visit one of the West Yorkshire city's Khidmat Centres, which focus on helping the most vulnerable members of the community.
