Duck! The spectacular moment jet plane swoops just metres above crowd

A jet plane gets a little too close for comfort as it swoops just metres above a crowd of airplane enthusiasts.

The incredible video captured at the Royal Air Force airshow in Waddington, Lincoln, shows the jet approaching, as crowds look on.

The plane swoops gradually lower before passing over stunned onlookers just metres above the ground.

Although many of the spectators appear stunned by the jet stunt, their shock soon turns to laughter at the adrenaline rush.

Airplane enthusiast Tom Pipe filmed the spectacular moment the jet flew over.

He told Yahoo!: 'Us aviation enthusiasts love this, and the pilots know that, so they try and go as low as they can, some lower than others.'
