With snow falling in parts of the UK and the temperatures plummeting, many of us will be looking for the best ways to keep warm. Dunelm has a "cosy" electric stove heater that people say heats up a room and looks "stylish".

The 2000W Traditional Small Stove is currently priced at £80 and can add an extra boost of heat in cold weather. And when you don't want the heat you can have just the glow of the faux fire to add to a warm atmosphere.

The product description said: "Elegant and stylish, this sleek contemporary stove is the perfect way of keeping warm this winter. This stove features a stunning forest green colour and an adjustable flame brightness for that extra cosy feel.

"To cater to your perfect temperature, simply adjust the thermostat to your desired warmth." It is H 54cm x W 45cm x L 28.5cm with a 1.4m cable length and made of metal and plastic.

It has a number of positive reviews on the Dunelm website and Carol said: "We have central heating that we limit the timings when on. Saw this lovely green heater while browsing in Dunelm- perfect to fit under the mantelpiece into empty fireplace to provide an extra boost of heat when needed."

Another shopper said: "The green is like a lighter, muted emerald colour and very pretty. It sits in our atrium which is huge (40 sq metres / 430 sq feet) and insanely chilly. This heats the room up really well from one corner to the other. The top and legs don't heat up too so it's been absolutely fine on a dark wood floor. "

Alice said: "Just what we wanted! Looks lovely, is really affordable, heats up the room quick and isn’t too noisy. You can change the temperature and turn the heat off completely to just have the glow. Highly recommend!"

Ava added: "A lovely stylish little heater. Gives out good heat and looks really nice. Well worth the money." And Nathan said: "This is a surprisingly solid little stove. I wouldn't normally dream of buying a plastic fake wood stove but this one caught our eye and for the price, we just couldn't resist.

"We don't really use the heater as any 2000W heater is not going to do your electricity bill any favours, but the light can be turned on without the heater and creates a lovely cosy vibe. The green is lovely an subtle (and very in right now).

"For a plastic thing it feels surprisingly solid, the little cover for the switches doesn't feel flimsy and the door even opens (why I don't know) but it's a nice touch. The light looks like flames, as much as you'd expect a fake stove to anyway, but for £80 I really can't complain. It adds a lot to the room for very little."

But one said the extension lead could have been longer for their needs and another said the light of the stove wasn't as bright as they wanted. You can get the 2000W Traditional Small Stove for £80 at Dunelm, or you get a Black Electric Stove Fire from ScrewFix for £69.99 or Amazon is selling a number of electric stove heaters, including the VonHaus Electric Stove Heater 1800W for £64.99.
