Dutch Officials Warn Residents to Stay Indoors as Large Industrial Fire Burns in Netherlands
A large fire broke out at an industrial park in the city of Ter Aar, Netherlands, on Friday, June 9, prompting Dutch authorities to issue a state alert warning residents to stay indoors due to potentially toxic smoke.
According to regional officials, the fire began on Friday evening, but was under control by 6am on Saturday morning.
No injuries were reported, Dutch outlet NOS reported.
