Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson gushes over his daughter Jasmine in sweet parenting post: 'One proud daddy'

Dwayne Johnson is a proud parent.

The Jungle Cruise actor took to Instagram on August 3 to gush over his daughter Jasmine’s recent horseback riding accomplishment. In the photo, Johnson grins at the camera with his five-year-old, who is sporting a blue ribbon and an equally as big smile.

Calling Jasmine “my little champion,” the star captioned the photo, “One proud daddy as my baby learns discipline, respect, focus and hard work with a smile - setting a solid example for her baby sister, Tia.”

He concluded, “And a big thank you to all the amazing riders who are teaching Jazzy the ropes of the sport - you girls are amazing!”

Johnson shares Jasmine and his youngest daughter Tia, 2, with his wife Lauren Hashian. He is also dad to 19-year-old Simone, from his marriage to his first wife, Dany Garcia. Though Garcia and Johnson split up in 2008, the former couple still works together on many business ventures.

Earlier this year, the Fast and the Furious star shared how happy his youngest daughters made him on Father’s Day.

"These lil tornados of mayhem & love have nooooo idea how much they made my Father’s Day," he wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo of Johnson and his little ones. "I came downstairs to make them breakfast and they had these surprise drawings waiting for me on the counter. Man as you go down this road of life, I realize more and more just how much these moments of caring & kind matters. Makes my T-Rex heart so full knowing that this comes naturally to my baby girls.”

The "proud daddy" routinely shares photos of his children on social media. In 2017, when Jasmine was still a toddler, Johnson shared a pic of himself and Jazzy to Instagram, along with the tongue-in-cheek caption.

“Jazzy, let daddy tell you his goals," he began. "By 5, you'll be looking people in the eye when you firmly shake their hand. By 8, you'll know how to fish, drive daddy's pick up truck and do cardio. And by 10, you'll be able to directly say to people, ‘Great job, I like it a lot, but let's see how we can make it better’. Helluva plan right sweetheart?"

While Jasmine isn’t exactly driving a pickup truck yet (she still has three years to learn!) she’s clearly exceeding expectations on the horseback riding front.
