The idea of The Rock and Wonder Woman teaming up might be a stroke of genius, but Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot's latest project together has actually been delayed.
According to a report in Variety, Red Notice – Johnson's third film with writer and director Rawson Marshall Thurber – has been given a new, later release date.
It's believed the art-world heist thriller (in which The Rock will play an Interpol agent) will now enter cinemas five months later than planned on November 13, 2020.
Red Notice will be Johnson's latest entry in his and Thurber's Skyscraper and Central Intelligence trilogy, but he's got a lot going on in his diary beyond that.
As well as his very own Fast & Furious spin-off, Hobbs and Shaw, and the upcoming and unambitiously-titled project The King, Dwayne is also flexing his muscles for Disney.
Coincidentally, Johnson's Jungle Cruise – also starring Emily Blunt and Jack Whitehall (!) – has also been delayed by the powers that be.

Last month, the actor confirmed that the official release date for the adventure epic had been pushed back from its original October 2019 slot to 2020.
The Rock didn't address the reason for the delay in his recent announcement, but did confirm a new, summery release date of July 24, 2020.
