Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has spoken out about his long-running feud with fellow actor Vin Diesel. Dwayne, 49, called Vin, 54, a "candy a**" in a social media post a few years ago. The post ended up going viral while the pair were filming The Fate of The Furious.

For his Vanity Fair cover, Dwayne has opened up about the drawn-out row with Vin. The pair both starred in the Fast and Furious franchise, where Dwayne played Agent Luke Hobbs and Vin played Dominic Toretto. Vin also produced most of the movies too.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Dwayne explained that he doesn't regret what he said, but regrets the feud going public. In the interview, Dwayne told the publication, "One part of me feels like there's no way I would dignify any of that bullsh** with an answer. But here's the truth. I've been around the block a lot of times. Unlike him, I did not come from the world of theater. And, you know, I came up differently and was raised differently."

Dwayne and Vin didn't have any scenes together for, The Fate of The Furious, which was released in 2017. This was the only reason Dwayne agreed to return to the franchise. He explained: "I wanted to forgo drama. I thought that that was the best thing to do. For everybody."

When filming was about to come to a close for The Fate of The Furious, Dwayne took to social media to praise his co-stars, as well as expressing his happiness that filming had finished. Dwayne explained that the whole experience made his "blood boil."

In the post, Dwayne said, "An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es."

In his recent interview, Dwayne explained what he meant by the term, where he said, "A candy a** is something you don't want to be. And the best way I can describe a candy a** is: Life is so much easier, I have found, when you are not full of s**t. And a candy a** is completely full of s**t."
