Yahoo News Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson shares touching tribute to the Queen after tweet hoax
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has paid tribute to the Queen, shortly after he was apparently the victim of a fake tweet hoax.
The false tweet prank took place after Her Majesty's death on Thursday (8 September).
According to The Independent, Johnson's name was linked to some posts doing the rounds on Twitter that seemed to be using the Queen's death to promote Johnson's new movie Black Adam.

However, the star later took to Instagram to share his own tribute to the monarch.
"I’m just swooping in really quickly to stop in and send my love and my condolences, my light, strength and mana to the Royal Family during this time in the spirit of the passing of the Queen," he said in the video.
"I’m so sorry, I know the pain, like we all know the pain.
"What a life. What an incredible life. I’ve never had the privilege or honour of meeting the Queen, but what a life.
"Seven decades I think of the longest-running monarchy, I think, I'm terrible at math, but I believe it's seven decades and what an impactful life."
The actor - who shot the video in the gym - lost his own father Rocky Johnson in 2020 and said it had taught him a lot about how to live.
"I've got to tell you, ever since – not that this is any consolation in any way, I’m just sharing just a perspective that I have," said the 50-year-old.
"When I lost my old man two years ago, right before the pandemic hit us, my old man just dropped and he passed away and I never had a chance to say goodbye to him.
"And I regret that."
The actor said the way he looks at it these days is that "it informs us on how we should live moving forward".
"Because in their spirit, we have an opportunity to live and live life and live greatly with passion and fervour and positive energy and with all we got," he explained.
