Ealing Elizabeth line 'incident' leaves one person dead
A person has tragically died following an incident at an Elizabeth Line station in West London yesterday evening (Monday, October 14). Police were called to Hanwell station at around 10.30pm to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Both officers and paramedics attended the scene and a person was taken to hospital. They sadly later died in hospital.
According to police, the incident is not being treated as suspicious. A file on the incident will also be prepared for the coroner.

There are now no disruptions from the station, which is on the Elizabeth line in the borough of Ealing. However, there were reportedly cancellations and delays resulting from the incident yesterday.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “We were called to Hanwell station at around 10.30pm on Monday, 14 October following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Officers attended along with paramedics and a person was taken to hospital where they sadly later died.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
