Eamonn Holmes leaves UK with new girlfriend after leaving Ruth Langsford 'amazed'

Eamonn Holmes, 64, has landed in Spain for holiday with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, after splitting from wife Ruth Langsford. The ITV alum and now GB News star is on holiday with Katie having whisked her away for a luxury trip.

The trip has reportedly left Ruth "gobsmacked". Eamonn dressed in a navy jacket over white shirt for the jaunt abroad and was pictured by the Sun newspaper on Sunday on a mobility scooter as he made his way through Barcelona Airport alongside Katie.

The European Union break comes after Eamonn split from wife Ruth earlier this year. Katie sported a stripy cardigan, beige trousers and perspex heels as she walked through arrivals while Eamonn was seen being aided through the transport hub.

“Katie has been telling pals she and Eamonn are going to be for keeps — and now everyone is starting to believe her," a source told the tabloid. "Eamonn’s zest for her — the latest being this all-expenses-paid trip — has wowed Ruth and pals.

"He has found a new lease of life for sure. Everyone is amazed.” Katie played with her long blonde hair as she pushed Eamonn's stroller and she pushed luggage as they prepare for a sun-soaked cruise with the couple having three large cases for the trip.

Eamonn is having ongoing rehabilitation for severe back troubles but the pair looked relaxed as they chatted in the Spanish airport. Doting Katie appeared to be taking good care of Eamonn in the wake of their relationship going public.

Eamonn underwent spinal surgery in September 2022 after years of back issues including a trapped sciatic nerve. Last year, Eamonn had a spine and neck stretching procedure as part of his year-long recovery. In May Ruth and Eamonn announced they have split after 14 years of marriage and a 27-year relationship.
