Eamonn Holmes dropped a surprise revelation prior to news of his split from Ruth Langsford becoming public.

In a discussion with Isabel Webster, reminiscing old disagreements came to the fore. Isabel recalled Eamonn's resolved dispute with former colleague Anthea Turner while chatting about Shakira's explosive new YouTube release, reports the Mirror.

Inviting viewers' opinions on their broadcast topics, Isabel enquired, "What do you think about all the topics we are covering? " Eamonn, hungry for engaging anecdotes, interjected: "We particularly want revenge stories," then questioned, "Revenge is it good, is it bad? ".

Isabel confronted him saying, "You talk a good game about this. You do. But actually, all the people in your life that you've had disputes with in the past, you're on great terms with now when I think about it?"

Eamonn retorted, "No,", causing Isabel to rebut, "No? Mostly." Then, Eamonn probed "What like Anthea Turner? ". When Isabel verified, "Yeah," she jokingly addressed her as "Princess Tippy Toes."

Proudly, Eamonn affirmed his forgiving approach by singing, "Prepared to forgive and forget," This earned him kudos from Isabel who complimented, "You're quite good at it."

However, Eamonn ominously hinted towards unresolved conflicts on GB News, by stating, "No, but there are other people who have got names who are dead to me whose names I can't..'". Quelling potential oversteps, Isabel swiftly interrupted, cautioning, "Let's not go there."

Eamonn Holmes candidly reflected on the perils of fame, remarking, "Once you cross...there are evil people. There are evil people in the world and in the battle between good or evil, which I am good. The only sort of enemy you want is a defeated enemy."

The relationship between Anthea Turner and Eamonn Holmes wasn't always smooth sailing, with a notable off-air conflict following her abrupt exit from GMTV.

At the time, Holmes didn't mince words, describing Turner as high-maintenance and even dubbing her "Princess Tippy Toes." Turner, for her part, hit back by alleging that Holmes had made "rude" remarks while they worked together.

In a recent turn of events, it emerged last weekend that Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford are set to part ways after 14 years of marriage.

Following a period of absence, Eamonn made a comeback on GB News this Tuesday, where he delivered a heartfelt statement about his impending divorce.

"Just before we move on we'd just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated," he told viewers, expressing appreciation for the public's support.
