Eamonn Holmes made waves with a revelation just before the public learned of his split from Ruth Langsford. In a nostalgic conversation with Isabel Webster on GB News, they reminisced about past disagreements including Eamonn's famous feud with Anthea Turner.

Isabel mentioned Eamonn's mended ties with his ex-colleague during a discussion on Shakira's explosive new YouTube hit. The pair hosted the GMTV breakfast show from 1994 until 1996, but it was well known that their relationship was frosty, with Eamonn famously branding her 'Princess Tippy Toes'.

Eamonn reportedly issued an an ultimatum to the GMTV management that he would leave if they did not sack his colleague, results in Anthea leaving the show. Isabel asked: "What do you think about all the topics we are covering? Eamonn, keen for some salacious tales, interjected: "We particularly want revenge stories," he declared. "Revenge is it good, is it bad?"

Isabel playfully accused him, saying: "You talk a good game about this. You do. But actually, all the people in your life that you've had disputes with in the past, you're on great terms with now when I think about it? ".

To which Eamonn responded with a terse, "No," leading Isabel to press, "No? Mostly." That prompted Eamonn to ask, "What like Anthea Turner?". Isabel confirmed: "Yeah."

Eamonn then took pride in his ability to let bygones be bygones, stating: "Prepared to forgive and forget," earning him Isabel's commendation for his conflict resolution skills. "You're quite good at it."

However, Eamonn alluded to more serious grudges on GB News, darkly hinting, "No, but there are other people who have got names who are dead to me whose names I can't...'". Isabel swiftly intervened, cautioning: "Let's not go there."

Eamonn Holmes candidly reflected on the perils of fame, remarking, "Once you cross...there are evil people. There are evil people in the world and in the battle between good or evil, which I am good. The only sort of enemy you want is a defeated enemy."

The relationship between Anthea Turner and Eamonn Holmes wasn't always smooth sailing, especially after her abrupt exit from GMTV. At the time, Eamonn didn't mince words, describing Anthea as high-maintenance and even dubbing her "Princess Tippy Toes."

Turner, for her part, didn't hold back in accusing Eamonn of making "rude" comments while they worked together. In a recent turn of events, it emerged last weekend that Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford are set to part ways after 14 years of marriage.

Following a period of absence, Eamonn made a comeback on GB News this Tuesday and delivered a heartfelt message about his split. "Just before we move on we'd just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated," he said, showing appreciation to his viewers.
