Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford celebrate 10th wedding anniversary

This Morning viewers were touched as Eamonn Holmes presented his wife Ruth Langsford with a hamper full of tin gifts to mark their 10th wedding anniversary,

The presenters celebrated the milestone on Friday (June 26) and reminisced about their big day in 2010 as they hosted the ITV show.

Holmes, 60, then surprised his wife with a basket full of tinned goods – because 10th anniversary gifts are traditionally made of tin.

Langsford was intrigued as her hubby unpacked tins of beans, biscuits and soup, congratulating him on picking tomato as it was her favourite.

But as he got to the end of the pile, she couldn’t help teasing: “Is there a diamond in the bottom? Hidden?”

“Why can’t you just be thankful, why do you have to spoil it all?” Holmes jokingly asked.

Langsford, 60, also paid tribute to Holmes on social media.

Sharing a series of snaps from their wedding, she wrote: “Loving & laughing for 24 years...

“Happy 10th Anniversary my darling @eamonnholmes.”

Many fans posted messages on Twitter wishing the couple a happy anniversary.

One person tweeted: “Happy 10th anniversary to you stunning Ruth and to your Husband Eamonn the best couple on the TV, always makes This morning a superb watch. have a great one to you both.”

“Happy Anniversary Ruth and Eamonn. You're a lovely couple,” said another fan.

“Here’s to 10+ and many more years,” said another.

“Sending you both lots of love and positivity as you celebrate your anniversary today.”

Presenter Rylan Clark-Neal posted a picture of himself with the presenters, tweeting: “Happy 10th wedding anniversary to the tele mum and dad.

“Love you both x.”

Holmes and Langsford started dating in the late 90s and welcomed a son in 2002.
