Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are reportedly still in daily contact despite their separation. The former couple announced they would divorce after 14 years of marriage on Saturday.

Despite announcing their split, insiders claim the pair, both 64, remain in touch. They are both still sharing custody of their beloved dog Maggie so need to make arrangements for her.

An insider revealed to The Sun: "Eamonn and Ruth are still in contact, they speak every day. Although they've separated, they're still sharing their dog, Maggie, at the moment and of course they have their son, Jack."

Both Ruth and Eamonn, who used to present This Morning together, have been spotted still wearing their wedding rings, suggesting they may not be ready to fully move on. It's reported that the couple have grown apart recently, with Eamonn moving out of their Surrey mansion.

Their last social media post together was in July 2022, showing Eamonn supporting Ruth at a Feeling Fabulous event. Eamonn returned to work on GB News this week, where he was seen on air still wearing his wedding ring.

Following the announcement, Ruth took a week off from Loose Women. The statement declared: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."

Sources claim Eamonn was only made aware of the statement shortly before its release and had "no power over it whatsoever".
