Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford's co-star left shocked over divorce as she addresses update
Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes' former This Morning colleague Amanda Holden has expressed sadness over their divorce, following reports that Ruth plans to celebrate once it's finalised.
The news of Eamonn and Ruth's separation after 14 years of marriage shocked fans back in May.
As divorce proceedings get underway, a source told Heat Magazine that Ruth, 64, is looking forward to "life after divorce" and exciting new opportunities.

"On the receipt of her being a free woman, she is going to throw a party. Her best pals have confirmed that she is on the up, while she’s left Eamonn spitting feathers in her wake," they added.
On Heart Radio this week, Amanda said of the latest report: "I love both of them, I love Ruth, I love Eamonn, I can't believe this has happened. It's like so sad for everyone I think."
Her co-star Ashley Roberts chimed in: "It's like mum and dad has broken up to everybody."
Amanda further commented on Ruth's vibrant personality, saying she would throw a great party.
Since their split was announced, the Loose Women panellist has remained single, while Eamonn, 65, has moved on with Katie Alexander, 42.
Earlier reports suggested that the pair were eager to finalise their divorce quickly, so they can proceed with a fresh start this year.
However, a relationship expert has claimed that accelerating the process can have negative consequences.
According to Chloé Moreau of ExpertsEnRencontres, the speed of the process should not overlook the emotional and practical implications for both parties.
"Divorce is not just a legal transition - it’s an emotional one, and rushing through the process may leave unresolved feelings or create additional stress," she explained.
Chloé also cautioned that Eamonn and Ruth must ensure that the settlement terms are fair and representative of both their needs.
Furthermore, she advised the couple to approach the divorce with "mutual respect" to prevent any tensions in the future.
