Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford's reconciliation warning as pair still wear wedding rings
A relationship expert has shared what three factors separated couples like Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford should consider, if they are thinking about rekindling in the future.
In an announcement that shocked fans back in May, the former This Morning presenters shared that they were in the process of a divorce after 14 years of marriage.
Neither Eamonn or Ruth, 64, have gone into details about the reason behind their split and despite the pair both respectively still wearing their wedding rings, it seems to be a definite decision.

In the rare chance of a U-turn however, relationship expert Jesper Jensen at ExpertsEnAmour has shared how a potential reconciliation could work.
He exclusively told Reach PLC: “Eamonn and Ruth have a history, and sometimes that can work in your favour if both have worked through past issues. For any chance of getting back together, there needs to be a genuine desire to forgive, heal, and rebuild trust."
Should these factors be ignored, Jesper warns that "the same old problems will resurface".
Eamonn and Ruth married back in 2010 and together they share 22-year-old son Jack. The GB News presenter is also a father to three older children from his first marriage to Gabrielle Holmes.
Recently quizzed on why she was still wearing her wedding ring by an Instagram user, Ruth simply replied: "Because I am still married."
Despite also still wearing his wedding ring, Eamonn is dating relationship counsellor and mother-of-three Katie Alexander, who is 22 years his junior.
Giving his verdict on the presenter's new romance, Jesper shared: "When someone is emotionally ready, the timing may not matter as much as it seems."
Yet the relationship expert suggests that moving on so quickly after splitting from a long-time partner can spark issues, adding: "Eamonn's experience with Ruth will shape his approach with his new partner.
"If he’s really reflected on his past relationship, this could be a good foundation, but only if both partners are willing to deal with any emotional baggage.”
