Eamonn Holmes Under Fire For Asking Marnie Simpson To Get Her Boobs Out

In case you missed it, Celebrity Big Brother came to an end on Friday night with Stephen Bear being declared this season’s winner and Geordie Shore favourite, Marnie Simpson, coming in fourth place.

However, the controversy has far from ended and Marnie found herself at the centre of another scandal yesterday after she was treated rather inappropriately during an appearance on This Morning.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were interrogating, we mean interviewing, Marnie about an incident from the first week of CBB where she flashed her boobs to Loose Women’s Saira Khan.

Speaking about her antics, Ruth quipped: “Obviously we can’t show it because it’s a daytime show, but you flashed her.”

Leading to Eamonn asking Marnie, on live TV, to flash her boobs, saying: “Just show us what you did to her again.”

Needless to say, viewers at home were not impressed and took to social media to slam Eamonn, calling his comments “creepy” and “inappropriate”.

Keeping her cool, Marnie defended her behaviour, explaining: “When I came out I was really upset because I’ve seen that people were saying I was a bully. Which is completely not true.

"That’s the last thing I ever wanted to do was offend anyone, it was just supposed to be a harmless joke to lighten the mood because there was a lot of tension in there.”

Eamonn previously came under fire for his treatment of Marnie’s fellow housemate Chloe Khan, who also flashed a fair bit of flash during her stint in the house.

Also forced to defend herself, Chloe insisted that her behaviour didn’t impact her family as she shared: “I’ve done Playboy and I’ve done glamour, I’m very good at keeping my work and home life very separate and more of a job than family life.”

However, Eamonn was having none of it and retorted: “The thing is Chloe, I think you’re a very nice person and whatever, but I think what Ruth’s saying is when you watch that you feel a bit for you.

"Did you really have to do the things that you did?”

Viewers slammed the host on social media at the time, dubbing his comments “patronising”.
