Earn £45 an hour as a professional Cadbury Crème Eggs hunter

Job vacancies have opened for professional Crème Egg hunters with an hourly wage starting at £45 an hour.

Professional players will be paid to provide a service for those who want to increase their chances of finding a rare white chocolate egg, which come with a cash prize.

A totally of 872 prize-winning white chocolate eggs are being sold at supermarkets like Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Co-op, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, One Stop shops and some independent retailers.

Nine eggs carry the cash prize of £10,000 if found whilst larger numbers of the eggs carry smaller cash prizes.

Number of eggs with cash prizes

9 x £10,000 white chocolate eggs

22 x £1,000 white chocolate eggs

66 x £100 white chocolate eggs

700 x £50 white chocolate eggs

75 x £10 white chocolate eggs

Professional players will travel to associated supermarkets and buy the chocolate in order to find prize-winning variants.

All applicants need to provide is a photo ID, a full background check, and be open to travelling to several supermarkets in their local area or around the UK.

The online local services market, Bark.com has launched the service to encourage shoppers during Cadbury’s annual Easter campaign.

People who do not have time to buy the eggs themselves can ask specific questions on how they would like their Cadbury Crème Egg hunter to carry out the work.

This includes the number of eggs they would like them to buy, which shops to visit and what areas of the UK they would like covered.

Anyone can sign up to become a professional egg hunter or book one on the Bark.com website

Kai Feller, co-founder of Bark.com said they believe the service could do equally as well as the very successful McDonald’s Monopoly Player campaign last year.

“Thousands of people across the UK are understandably eager to find a white chocolate Crème Egg and a high value prize.

“However, some people just don’t have the time to be constantly buying eggs from a selection of supermarkets across the country – and that’s why we’ve launched this service."
